1. Tampon size depending on vagina size
First of all, you should know that tampon size does not depend on the size of your vagina .
The tampons differ in their size and in their absorbency, i.e. how much blood the tampon can absorb. This means that you choose the tampon size(s) according to the intensity of your menstrual flow .
2. Do organic tampons absorb as well as conventional ones?
Yes! Because EDANA, the European Disposables And Nonwovens Association , ensures comparability. It is like the mother of all tampon manufacturers and ensures that tampons must be labelled with the well-known drop system.
The drops indicate how many grams of blood are absorbed by your organic tampon.

The gram values are based on internationally harmonized test methods and brands you know use the same system for the absorbency of their tampons. Our organic tampons absorb just as much menstrual blood as you are used to with your usual tampon sizes.

4. How do I know I'm using the right size?
At the beginning, your period is usually heaviest and you should use a tampon with high absorbency, i.e. a large number of drops. During this phase, you should change the tampon approximately every 3-6 hours . If your tampon fills up more quickly and you have to change it sooner, a larger tampon is a good idea.
Your period shouldn't restrict you in your everyday life . It's important that you wear it comfortably and we don't want you to be reminded of your period every hour. You should feel safe and comfortable for a longer period of time and that's only possible if you don't have to constantly change your tampon.
Towards the end of the period, bleeding is usually less.
Then it is sufficient to change the tampon every 4-6 hours . However, you should not leave it in your body for longer than that, as this could lead to odors or, in rare cases, even infections.
If you change the tampon and it has only absorbed a small amount of blood, you know that you can either extend the change cycle or use a tampon with less absorbency (fewer drops). If the tampon is not sufficiently saturated, it is more difficult to remove. A smaller tampon size is therefore recommended. However, the strength of the period varies from woman to woman. So test for yourself which size is best and most comfortable for you in which phase. The larger the tampon, the greater the absorbency. With tampons, size really does matter.
5. How many tampons do I need?

Is my vagina too small/big for tampons?
No! If a tampon feels uncomfortable, it has something to do with the moisture in your vagina and the amount of blood you lose. The vagina is not too small or too big for a tampon.
