Wash your period panty before the first use to activate full absorbency.
Rinse it by hand with cold water – this helps dissolve the blood.
Then simply toss it in the gentle cycle of your washing machine with similar colors.
Wash at 40°C (104°F) and a maximum of 1200 RPM (ideally in a laundry bag).
Use mild detergent and avoid fabric softener to protect the fibers and maintain absorbency.
Let it air dry.
