At The Female Company you can find period underwear with different absorbencies that can absorb up to ca. 6 regular tampons. Depending on the absorbency level and the amount of liquid, you can wear your period underwear until it's full – but you should change it after a maximum of 10 hours.

You'll notice this relatively quickly: You should change your period panty as soon as it feels damp at the edges. Pro tip, if you're unsure: press a piece of toilet paper against the absorbent layer and check if any liquid is transferred or if it stays clean.
