These layers are seamlessly integrated into the panty, making them barely noticeable and only max. 1mm thicker than your regular underwear.

We are all different, and when it comes to our periods, it's difficult to generalize. The duration of wearing period underwear depends greatly on the intensity of your menstruation. As with tampons or pads – how long your period panties last is individual.

At The Female Company, you will find period underwear with different absorption capacities that are suitable for different strengths of menstrual bleeding or discharge. Depending on the absorption capacity and the amount of fluid, you can wear your period underwear until it's full – but you should ideally change it within 12 hours.

You can easily wash and reuse your period underwear:

  1. Rinse it with cold water by hand to dissolve the blood.
  2. Put the underwear in the washing machine with similarly colored laundry at 40-60 degrees Celsius (depending on the model). Always check the label for specific instructions.
  3. After washing, allow the period underwear to air dry.
