  1. Wash your period panty before the first use to activate its full absorbency.
  2. Rinse it by hand with cold water – this helps release the blood.
  3. Then simply toss it into your washing machine on a gentle cycle with similar colors.
  4. Wash at 40°C (104°F) and max 1200 rpm (ideally in a laundry bag).
  5. Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softener to protect the fibers and preserve absorbency.
  6. Let it air dry – no tumble dryer needed.

Every menstruating person uses an average of around 16,800 period products in their lifetime. Disposable products alone generate more than 20,000 tons of waste in Germany alone.
Sustainable alternatives, such as period panties, can completely replace disposable products such as tampons and pads.

Although the period panty needs to be washed, water consumption is minimal compared to the production of disposable products.
