  1. Wash your period panty before the first use to activate full absorbency.
  2. Rinse it by hand with cold water – this helps dissolve the blood.
  3. Then simply toss it in the gentle cycle of your washing machine with similar colors.
  4. Wash at 40°C (104°F) and a maximum of 1200 RPM (ideally in a laundry bag).
  5. Use mild detergent and avoid fabric softener to protect the fibers and maintain absorbency.
  6. Let it air dry.

KEEP IT CLEAN

So wäschst du Period Pantys

  • Wasche deine Period Panty per Hand mit kaltem Wasser aus – so löst sich das Blut.
  • Wirf’ sie dann einfach mit ähnlich farbiger Wäsche in
    den Schonwaschgang     deiner Waschmaschine.
  • Wasche deine Panty bei 40 Grad (ab und zu kannst du sie auch bei 60 Grad waschen).
  • Am besten nutzt du Feinwaschmittel und verzichtest auf Weichspüler, um die Fasern deiner Panty zu schonen und die maximale Saugkraft zu bewahren.
  • Lass' sie dann einfach an der Luft trocknen.

Die Schichten sind so flach in die Panty eingearbeitet, dass sie kaum auffallen und sind nur max. 1mm dicker als deine normale Unterwäsche.

We’re all different, and when it comes to periods, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. The wearing time of period underwear depends heavily on the intensity of your flow. Just like with tampons or pads, how long your period panty lasts is individual.

At The Female Company, you’ll find period underwear with different absorbency levels for lighter or heavier days. Depending on the absorbency and your flow, you can wear your period underwear until it’s full — but you should change it after a maximum of 12 hours.

You can easily wash and reuse your period underwear:

  • Rinse by hand with cold water.
  • Place the underwear with similarly colored items in the washing machine at 40-60°C (depending on the model).
  • Always check the care label!
    After washing, air-dry the period underwear.
