If you are in the early stages of pregnancy, the increased discharge can be attributed to increased estrogen levels. So this could be a sign of pregnancy. But if you really want to be on the safe side, you'd better do a pregnancy test right away...
4. Less pre-period discharge
If you ovulated and are not pregnant, your cervical mucus will decrease before your period. Means: less liquid and not spinnable, but creamy, milky and viscous. Because, as already mentioned, if no sperm has fertilized your egg cell, your body will first reduce production. Shortly before your period, you may even have almost no discharge.
