Frequently Asked Questions
Good period underwear is designed to effectively reduce odors. The layers trap menstrual blood and prevent unpleasant odors from developing. It’s important to change your period underwear regularly and follow the care instructions when washing them. Experience shows that period underwear remains odor-free when cleaned properly. Rinsing them after each use and washing them afterward keeps the panties hygienic and fresh for many uses.
Washing your period panties is easy!
- Rinse your period panties by hand with cold water to loosen the blood.
- Then, toss them in the washing machine on the delicate cycle with similarly colored laundry (preferably in a laundry bag).
- You can wash your panties at 40 degrees. For more delicate materials, such as seamless fabric or lace, we recommend washing at 30 degrees to help the material maintain its appearance over time.
- Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softener to protect the fibers of your panties.
- Let them air dry; never put them in the dryer.
One general tip is to wash your panties in a laundry bag. Zippers, bra hooks, and similar items can damage panties. I hope these tips help your panties stay in great shape for a long time!
Feel free to check the label on your panties for the exact washing instructions.
Since remote sizing is always tricky, we've included a size chart and recommendations for each style to make it easier for you. Simply click the "Size Chart" link above the size selector on the product page. That should take care of everything. However, when making your selection, we recommend considering a few additional factors. Do you experience severe abdominal pain during your period? Do you feel bloated? If so, a looser waistband might be a better fit. You can find the size chart here.
When you click on a pair of panties, the description will tell you if they contain biocides. The ingredients are listed on the panties themselves, so you can check them there as well. All of our panties can be washed at 40 degrees. You can also find the product descriptions on our website.
Thanks to your customer feedback, we brought to market panties without biocides as quickly as possible. Our period panties are now biocide-free. You’ll find detailed information for each product in its description.
