      The period swimwear from The Female Company keeps you dry during short stays by the water and for quick dips with a light to medium flow. It features Fluid Protection Technology to prevent side leakage and Flexi Technology that allows the absorbent layer to flexibly adapt to your body and absorb blood where it flows.

      For longer stays in the water and actual swimming, we developed the PERFORMANCE® Period Swimwear line. With three unique technologies, it's designed to minimize water intake and prevent blood from leaking out while swimming: the Panty-in-Panty-System®, WaterStop Silicone®, and water-repellent materials.

      We’re all different, and when it comes to periods, it’s hard to generalize.
      The duration you can wear period swimwear really depends on how heavy your flow is.
      Just like with tampons or pads, it’s individual how long it keeps you dry.In general, we recommend (and this also applies to regular swimwear to prevent bladder infections):
      after swimming, change into a dry panty.

      To make sure you and your period bikini or period swimsuit have a long-lasting relationship, we recommend the following care instructions:

      • Rinse by hand with cold water after wearing.
      • Wash on a gentle cycle with similar colors.
      • Use a 30°C (cold) wash.
      • For best results, use mild detergent and avoid fabric softener.
      • Let it air dry.

      No! The absorbent insert in the period bikini is discreetly integrated, so no one can tell from the outside that it’s period swimwear. Not to mention the design itself 🙂.
